Mellissa bought the practice in 2000 after graduating from the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In 2005 she earned a Master of Accounting and Financial Management (MAFM); adding an Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2006. In 2005, she sat for and successfully passed her CPA exam and is currently in the process of meeting the experience requirement set forth by the state of Maine for licensure.
Mellissa serves on the Board of Trustees at Millinocket Regional Hospital as well as the Loan Review Committee of the Northern Maine Development Commission. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Joey and their two year old son, Connor.

Rachel has been with the practice since 1984. She is our resident expert in payroll and logging contractors but also does bookkeeping and truck licensing.
Rachel has one son and two grandchildren. She and her husband Ron have two cats, two dogs, and are licensed foster parents. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys reading, working in her flower garden, and antiques.

Sandy has been with us since 2006. She is the cheerful voice on the other end of the line when you call our Patten office. She does most of the truck licensing and reporting as well as some payrolls and bookkeeping.
Sandy and her husband John have three grown sons, two grandsons, and a granddaughter on the way. In her spare time Sandy enjoys camping, reading, sewing, cooking, and playing with her grandkids.

Randy runs our Presque Isle office and is the most recent addition to our Calculations family. He spent 6 years in the U.S. Army and attended Phoenix College where he majored in business administration. In 1980 he was hired by the IRS where he worked as a Revenue Officer in the Collection Division until his retirement in May 2008.
Randy and his wife have three children and one grandson. In their spare time, they enjoy travelling to warm climates and relaxing at home
